This is the Mechanics Corral at Fort Union National Monument, New Mexico. During it's heyday in the 1870's this was a busy section of the fort, where the wagons and other equiptment were repaired. 

Thunderbird Park, Victoria, British Columbia. Located directly behind the Royal BC Museum, Thunderbird Park contains numerous First People Totem Poles. During the summer months you can watch Native carvers create these beautiful and spiritual works of art. The Empress Hotel can be seen in the background.
